Philosophy
I have training in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), psychodynamic therapy, and humanistic psychology. My therapeutic training has allowed me to take an integrative approach to working with individuals, couples, and families. These theoretical orientations have all been well researched and are considered effective in treating a range of diagnoses.
The treatment I provide is most heavily weighted in CBT. CBT is one of the most effective treatment options for a range of psychological problems, including anxiety, depression, assertiveness, relationship problems, and more. It is my goal to teach my clients how to effectively manage and reduce their symptoms through private CBT therapy.
